Wasps are mostly a problem in July and August but we’re removing wasp nests right through the Autumn, sometimes as late as November. Last week we were called out to Broadstone to deal with a wasp nest tucked under an earth cable cover. Awkward spot! The nest was a large one, but we quickly had the pests cleaned out and the cable cover lid back on.

We still find ourselves handling problem wasp nests in the winter months. Last week we dealt with a wasp nest on a Christchurch property, one that had been there since last year. The nest was in the attic, always a nasty place to find you’ve got wasps.
