The National Pest Technicians Association (NPTA) was established in 1993.
The NPTA is the professional membership association within the UK for professional Pest Controllers and their companies. With over 850 members, It is the largest UK membership body dealing with the UK Pest Control Industry.
Pest Control Servicing companies and Pest Control technicians have to meet the requirements below in order to become an NPTA member. This ensures that the general public and businesses can be assured they are using a credible company. A professional person/company that they can trust and rely upon.
‘Pest Control Servicing Companies with NPTA membership should carry Public Liability Insurance and those companies that employ persons should also carry Employers Liability Insurance. Where appropriate, Products Liability Insurance must also be carried.
Pest Control Servicing companies are required to submit copies of training certificates for all those carrying out pest control within the company.
Members shall agree to abide by the Association’s constitution and all that is contained therein.
Approved members are recognised by all major supermarket chains.
